Bootshaus Cologne 3D Projection Mapping Installation

The Bootshaus in Cologne ranks among the most renowned clubs in Germany. International artists such as David Guetta, Skrillex, Deadmau5, Paul Kalkbrenner, Moby, Sven Väth, Steve Aoki, and Fedde Le Grand have already performed at this iconic venue.

Since its major redesign in July 2012, a striking projection mapping installation has become the visual centerpiece of the transformed shipyard halls. Spanning across the DJ booth, the 3D-mapped sculpture forms the basis for a captivating spatial media experience.

Animated with ever-changing real-time visuals, the sculpture blends minimalist graphics, escapist imagery, and technical aesthetics into a synesthetic media art installation. The visuals are rendered and projected live, creating a seamless connection between space, music, and motion.

Powered by an Avolites AI media server and high-definition projections, this immersive media artwork uses cutting-edge technologies from the world of interactive installations and projection mapping art.
